Matthew Kehl is the Accounting Manager at The Philadelphia Foundation, a public charity and community foundation dedicated to connecting donors with causes that strengthen the Greater Philadelphia region.

In his role, Matthew brings deep expertise in nonprofit fund accounting, financial operations, and reporting — skills he applies in a supporting capacity to advance the Regional Foundation’s mission.

A native of South Carolina, Matthew has called Philadelphia home since 2022 and has quickly embraced the city’s vibrancy, diversity, and civic energy. He is drawn to organizations like the Regional Foundation whose work reflects his belief that strong, equitable communities are built through intentional investment and resident-driven Leadership.

Matthew serves on the Finance Committee of the Independence Business Alliance, Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas.
